Floor plan rendering
Floor plan rendering, from the real model.
A floor plan rendering shows what your plan looks like as a real room. The plan is first turned into a 3D model at its real size, and the render is made from that model, so the picture matches the plan.

Two kinds of render
Preview first, then photoreal.
What goes into a render
Light, material, and a camera.
- CamerasSave as many perspective views as you like and render any of them again later.
- LightSun direction, sky and lamps, with a colour temperature that suits the style.
- MaterialsFloors, walls and furniture finishes, including textures you upload, at their real scale.
- FinishingPhotoreal renders can add curtains, plants, art and cushions. They appear only in the image, never in your project.
Questions
About floor plan rendering.
What renderer is used?
Two. A quick preview renderer gives you an image in seconds. For the final picture, Blender’s Cycles path tracer renders the same model from the same camera.
Is the render an AI image?
No. It is a render of the 3D model, so sizes, positions and materials are the ones in your project. An optional AI concept preview exists too, and it is always labelled “AI-generated, not an accurate render”.
Does a render change if I keep editing?
No. A render keeps the version of the project, the camera, the materials and the lights it was made from, so it always matches the design it shows.
